Seta Field owns and manages FETA, a field execution tracking application for measuring share of shelf of products. FETA employs artificial intelligence in measuring and tracking share-of-shelf of a product versus full category in markets that are fragmented and unstructured markets such as is in Nigeria and other developing and emerging markets. It can aggregate this data across several locations or products, gathering store-by-store data, and providing raw actionable insights on what happens on the retailer’s shelves.
To combat counterfeit wines and spirits in Nigeria, Seta Field launched naijaliquors.com , an online platform that connects wine and spirits distributors in Nigeria directly to final consumers. In addition to combating counterfeits, naijaliquors offers cheapest price across several catgeories including whiskeys, champagne, wines, vodka, rum, and cognac.
In Seta Field’s drive for financial inclusion in Africa, it has developed an algorithm that measures credit worthiness of unbanked and underbanked retailers, allowing them access to a broad range of credit lenders. It has also created and implemented a retail lending program and process flow that helps ensure underbanked retailers have access to credit at point of need, and ensures less than 2% payment default rates.
